Condition
Original canvas. There are old pinholes in the corners, the canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher and the surface is slightly dirty otherwise in excellent original condition with some strong passages of impasto.
Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a painted wood frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
