PAINT SURFACE
The picture appeas to be in good condition. There has been some minor infilling to craquelure in the foreground and to the foliage in the centre right of the painting. Also there is some minor retouching to the upper centre of the board, in the sky.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor scattered retouching in the sky and along the lower edge of the canvas. It also confirms the infilling to craquelure.

Held in a carved and gilded wooden frame.
