Description

  • 70cm. high, 52cm. wide, 33cm. deep; 2ft 3½ in., 1ft 8½ in., 1ft 1in.
with a later rouge Languedoc marble top within a border of guilloche enclosing flowerheads, the stippled frieze centred by a roundel enclosing flowerheads flanked by scrolls and foliage, the cabriole legs headed by bearded masks with a feathered headdress on a trelliswork ground on leaf carved feet; regilt, marble restored, formerly a stand for a cabinet

Condition

Old very minor marks, chips and hairline cracks commensurate with age. Later stretcher beneath the top. In overall good restored condition.
