Description
- each: 33cm. high, 1ft. 1in.
each of baluster form with a ribbed band below the neck with swan neck handles and a band of lotus leaves around the base on a trumpet foot and leaf cast square base; restored
Condition
Good quality casting to gilt-bronze. One of the vases shows repair to the neck and body and the gilt-bronze collar is slightly loose and needs re-fixing. The other vase is also restored and there is evidence of an old glue repair where the handles join the body. There are some miniscule chips to the porphyry and a deep scratch above the leaf-cast section. In overall good restored condition.
