Description

  • 20cm. high, 28cm. wide 18cm. deep; 8in., 11in., 7in.
depicting a tavern scene with a tipsy seated female figure on a bench beneath a canapé bedecked with flowers and leaves with a table surmounted by a beer barrel, flagon and funnel, the hinged top opening to reveal an ink pot and sander with a the male figure of Autumn in front of an open barrel on a rockwork base

Condition

Some retouching to painted tôle and very minor flaking. The glass formerly in the inkpot is now missing and top of the tap on the barrel is missing. A very unusual piece. In overall very good original condition.
