  • A COPPER-RED 'FISH' STEMCUP, KANGXI PERIOD
  • 9cm diameter
the gently rounded sides flaring to the lipped rim, decorated on the exterior in a thickly applied rich copper-red with three stylised fish, two depicted facing each other, the remainder glazed in white, supported on a high solid splayed foot, apocryphal Xuande mark in underglaze-blue within a double circle in the centre of the interior
