Description

  • diameters 3 and 4 5/8 in.
  • 7.6 and 11.8 cm
each with an iron-red ground embellished with gold and oxidized silver flowering vines and reserved on the front and reverse or in the center with a stag hunt scene painted in a naturalistic palette, the interior rim with a black-ground gilt floral and foliate border. Tiny chips, and the saucer with a hair crack.

Condition

Both with wear to gilding on rim edge, cup otherwise good, saucer with two 2mm chips on upper edge of rim at 7 o'clock.
