Description

  • diameters 2 5/8 and 4 1/8 in.
  • 6.6 and 10.4 cm
each painted on the interior with a butterfly hovering above peonies and other flowers within a pink dragon-scroll band and a yellow Y-diaper border reserved with three blue-edged panels of pale green, blue or lavender dragons. Very small rim chips.

Condition

Teabowl with a 1/16 inch chip to rim, saucer with a 1mm chip at 1 o'clock, 1mm flake to ruby ground on underside of saucer and a tiny rim chip at approximately 2 o'clock, otherwise in good condition. Garland 733 on cup, 699 on saucer, Morgan 961 sticker on both.
