Description

  • height 2 1/2 in.; diameter 4 7/16 in.
  • 6.4 and 11.2 cm
each reserved on the dark rose-delineated gold Y-diaper ground with three panels of a cock amidst peonies interrupting the grisaille trellis diaper border around the rim, and the center of the saucer with a similarly bordered peony and Buddha's hand citron roundel. Small chips; the saucer rim with a repaired chip

Condition

cup with ½ inch frit along rim; saucer with 3/8 inch triangular restored rim chip issuing a 5/8 inch haircrack at 7 o'clock, spot of stacking wear in gold diaper, rim also with a fine 1-inch haircrack at 1:30 and a fine 1/2- inch haircrack at 3 o'clock.
