Description

  • height 4 3/16 in.
  • 10.7 cm
the spherical body painted on either side with the crest of Merry above shoots of green bamboo within the interstices formed by a deep rose and gilt Y-diapered ruyi-lappet border interrupted at the faceted spout and handle by a rose and green peony sprig, the cover similarly bordered.  Small chips on the spout and knop.

Condition

Tiny chips to edge of the spout and a 1/4-in. slice chip along the side of the spout, 3/8 x 1/8 inch chip to knop with frit, interior cover flange with minute crack.
