similarly decorated to the preceding lot, but the peacock observing the parrot perched on the tree branch above, the S-scroll handle and footrim with pale green scalework, and the rim and cover rim with a gilt diamond-trelliswork border repeated within four lappets around the purple knop.
Condition
Milk jug with shallow 3 and 1mm chips on edge to side of rim; cover fits very tightly, 2mm chip to purple enamel on the tip of the knop, wear to the gilding around the edge of the rim.
