Description
- lengths 10 and 10 3/16 in.
- 25.4 and 25.9 cm
in the Japanese taste, the interior painted on the fluted upper section with butterflies and other insects flitting among peonies and prunus above gilt 'staves' conjoined beneath a gilt triangular tip, one edge with a larger iron-red 'stave' patterned with gilt cell diaperwork, and the underside decorated with an Imari flowering vine. One with a small chip.

Condition
One with minor fritting on corners and edges, 3mm chip to red edge, some wear to gilding and straight edge of both, minor stacking wear on both.
