Description

  • diameters 2 15/16 and 4 1/2 in.
  • 7.5 and 11.4 cm
each finely painted en grisaille with a central peony sprig surrounded on the interior of the saucer or on the exterior of the cup with four reserved and gilt-edged quatrefoil panels of peonies beneath a gilt trellis diaper and floral border on the rim. The cup with a tiny hair crack and the saucer with two tiny chips.

Condition

Teabowl with 1/8 inch minute haircrack to rim, saucer with a 2mm chip under rim at 1 o'clock.
