Condition

A decorative and attractive piece of good overall appearance. Minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Some wear to green finish, such as edges to the top. The joints are very slightly loose. Top with a very slight split between two planks consistent with age and construction. An appealing piece ready for use and display.

Catalogue Note

This table combines the lower stretcher arrangement typial of George Jack's tables with the legs and turned spindles used by Philip Webb. An identical table formed part of Morris & Co.'s 1889 furnishings at Bullerswood, Kent.
