Description

  • A rare mahogany canterbury
  • 60cm. high by 72cm. long by 57cm. wide;
  • 2ft 11½in., 2ft 4¼in., 1ft 10½in.
with three divisions, the moulded frame with pointed uprights, on tapering legs with brass cappings and casters

Condition

A striking piece of good overall appearance. Minor old marks, knocks and scratches consistent with age. One side rail with some wear to the upper moulding. Bottom board with two small areas of blemishing - one 4cm. in diameter, the other around 12cm. long. Some signs of restoration to the underside where the bottom board joins one leg.The joints are very slightly loose, typical of age. A practical piece which is ready for use.
