Description
- A pair of panels
- 37cm. high by 112cm. wide (maximum);
- 1ft 2½in., 3ft 8in.
painted and stained and leaded glass, each depicting two water nymphs on shell-strewn sand, one now in two pieces
Condition
An attractive pair of panels. The condition of the painted parts is generally good but the quarries on either side are loose and have some damage.
The left hand panel in the catalogue illustration has damage to the top right hand corner plain panel - this portion is not shown in the illustration as it has been cropped from the image. There is one narrow portion missing between the two painted panels. Again, this is not shown in the photograph in the catalogue.
The right hand panel in the illustration is in two pieces and has damage to the figure's left foot.
These decorative pieces would benefit from some attention.
