- 47.5cm.;
- 1ft 6¾in.
terracotta, the body decorated in white enamel and gilding between a pair of elephant head handles
Condition
A large and impressive piece which could be used for its original purpose. The colour in the catalogue is too red and the piece is of a rich terracotta tone. However, it has been restored and extensive use of spray means that the extent of the original damage is not obvious. Despite the restoration a striking jardinière.
