- 83cm.;
- 2ft 8¾in. high
mahogany, the deep seat and back covered in green velvet and flanked by square section supports, the curved arms fronted by fluted panels on brass cappings and castors, in the Aesthetic style
Condition
An elegant chair in overall good condition. There are some old marks and scratches generally, especially to lower gallery and feet with typical rubbing at corners and some light knocking to top of seat rails. One arm with two of three old chips, the largest approximately 1.5 cm. Later reupholstered; upholstery in very good condition. Inside of lower gallery with evidence of dripping varnish, suggesting revarnishing. Casters slightly loose, though this does not affect stability. Comfortable and ready for use.
