Condition

An unusual and striking piece of good overall appearance. The gilding and the niello works panels are brighter in tone than the illustration suggests. Gilding showing signs that it may have been retouched. Minor old marks and scratches overall. With one pendulum and one weight and one key to the glazed door. Movement not tested nor guaranteed. Silvering to the circular dial slightly worn. A rare example of a gothic revival longcase.
