Description

  • printed and impressed marks
earthenware, the grey ground decorated in black and blue, comprising: three oval dishes, two tureens and covers, a gravy boat and stand, six side plates, six soup plates, one soup cup and stand, six dinner plates, five supper plates

Condition

There is some minor surface wear and scratching consistent with light use but this is not unsightly. There is a small chip to the rim of one tureen but overall, a stylish set in good condition ready for display.

This service, designed circa 1937, was not produced until 1953.
