earthenware, decorated in ruby lustre with a band of sailing vessels flanking a sunburst

Condition

A decorative piece in good overall condition. There is some typical crazing to the glaze and imperfections to the body which are typical of this type of ware. The colour is slightly richer than the catalogue illustration suggests. A good example of this well documented series.
