Condition
The canvas has been lined. There is some minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. There is a minor spot of paint loss to the upper right corner. There is minor craquelure to the paint surface and some light stretcher marks on close inspection. There is some light surface dirt and a discoloured varnish - the work could benefit from a light clean. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some extremely minor retouching in the lower right quadrant. Held in a lightly decorated gold painted frame with some losses to the moulding at the right edge in particular.
