Condition
The canvas is original. There is craquelure to the paint surface in various places. On close inspection there is some very minor evidence of paint lifting, particularly in the upper left corner. There is some surface dirt to the work which could benefit from a very light clean. Otherwise in good condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some very minor spots of retouching to the cenreal section of the sky, some minor flecks to the upper part of the mountain in the foreground, and a few extremely minor spots elsewhere. Held in a decorative gold painted frame in fair condition.
