Condition
The Young Fishergirl:
The canvas is original. There is some light surface dirt to the work. Otherwise in good original condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no sign of retouching. Held in a simply decorated gold painted wooden frame in fair condition.
Breaking Waves:
The canvas is original. There is a minor indentation with a small hole and resulting paint loss in the upper left section of the work which could benefit from light restoration. There is some light surface dirt and extremely minor frame abrasion on close inspection. Otherwise in good original condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no sign of retouching. Held in a simply decorated gold painted wooden frame in fair condition.
