Condition

STRUCTURE This picture is relined and in excellent condition with strong colours throughout. There are no signs of craquelure and the paint surface appears to be stable throughout. This picture is clean and ready to hang. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT The varnish appears opaque under ultraviolet light but there do not appear to be any retouchings. FRAME This picture is contained in a plaster moulded frame.
