Catalogue Note

This plate was obviously based on the Dmitrovsky Manufactory Kremlin Service made for Lenin. It celebrates the seven-year anniversary of the Soviet Union and thus is decorated with the gilded initials SSSR, rather than RFSFR on the original service. These plates are very rarely found on the international market.
