Catalogue Note
Natalia Danko also designed a figure of the 'Georgian Girl' on which, presumably, this clock was modelled and which has been loosely dated to the second half of the 1930s. To see examples of this, and similar models of the clock, see: T.N. Nosovich and I.P. Popova, State Porcelain Manufactory 1904-1944, St. Petersburg Orchestr, 2005, p. 560 and 561.
