Description

  • height: 16cm., 6¼in
after a design by the artist, modelled by A. Lukhin, depicting two figures, one draped in purple fabric with an owl and a black cat and representing night, the other wrapped in gold and holding a sunflower representing daylight, with impressed manufactory marks and modeller's initials, also signed in gilt: N. Danko and with the letter D in Cyrillic  

Condition

The clock is lacking, the gilding is worn and tarnished at the front, visible in the catalogue photograph.
