the icon presents the story of the Burning Bush, at the centre appears the Mother of God half-length with the Christ Child who makes a gesture of blessing with one hand and holds a sealed scroll in the other, angels and archangels are depicted in the spaces between the triangular points of the red and blue star shapes, representing divine powers, the symbols of the four evangelists appear in the points of the red star
Condition
The border has been stripped to the gesso ground. There are some retouchings. In overall good condition.
