Description

  • 7 by 21.5 by 17cm ., 2 3/4 by 8 1/2 by 6 3/4 in.
of rectangular form, the upper lid centred with a finely carved hunting scene, the wood carcass overlaid with panels of ivory on a green painted background, pierced and engraved with floral ornament

Condition

There are cracks and minor losses to the ivory panels and to the background. Light wear consistent with age to the ivory of the box. The original keys are missing.
