Description

  • height: 33cm,. 13in
the bulbous lower body with slim neck and tapering foot decorated in Pan-Slavic style with gilt strapwork and geometric motifs, the whole profusely set with coloured glass beads, with domed cut stopper

Condition

Several of the glass beads are missing from the decanter. The gilding is worn, consistent with age and use.

The glass decanter is very similar in design to work by Ippolit Monigetti for the Imperial Glassworks.
