Description
- length: 56cm, 22in.
with double-edged blade cut with a pair of narrow fullers on each face, wooden hilt encased in silver repoussé and nielloed with foliage and bands of beadwork and retained by a rivet with large faceted flowerhead washers top and bottom, in its original wooden scabbard encased in silver decorated en suite with the hilt, drawn out to the base to a globular pommel, the reverse with a nielloed calligraphic panel and the front applied with a chased and nielloed Imperial eagle
Condition
The blade in good condition, the pommel with small dents and minor cracks. One side of the scabbard with small dents.
