Description

  • 90.5mm high x 88.7mm wide
unmarked, in gold, silver, pastes and red and white enamel (the setting also including some small diamonds in the Imperial crown), central medallion with monogram on a white enamel ground with legend around on red, Imperial crown above; the eight hinged and sprung rays with eyelets at the points for suspension, once also fitted with a full-height vertical brooch-pin which has been removed and now carrying a later removable backplate bearing an incorrect light-gauge "safety" brooch-pin, considerable wear, with evidence of a number of repairs and some pastes missing
