Condition
Original canvas, which is very brittle and has split in places along the outer edges of the stretcher. The surface is slightly dirty, there are spots of staining in places and the varnish has discoloured. There are vertical creases throughout. There is a tear to the surface to the right of the mast, above the mast, above the net and in the top left corner and there are flecks of paint loss in places throughout. There are areas of paint shrinkage to the sky and elsewhere. Unframed.
