Condition
The canvas is original and undulated in places. There is a very small hole in the central right hand section of the canvas, towards the right edge. There is light craquelure and stretcher marks in places. The work is dirty and would benefit from a light clean. There is also a discoloured and uneven varnish to the paint surface. Ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of retouching. Held in a lightly decorated gold painted frame in fair condition.
