Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner in St. Petersburg before the 1920s
Condition
The canvas has been laid on a board. The paint surface is slightly dirty. There are fine lines of craquelure in places and minor paint abrasions along the edges. UV light reveals small spots of retouching scattered throughout. Held in a gold painted plaster frame and unexamined out of frame.
