  • the undersides of the vessels stamped '398', '399' and '400', the underside of the tray stamped '394' and with the Patent Office Design Registry mark for 27 March 1880

  • the tray 41.5cm. over handle;
  • 1ft 4¼in.
silver, pearl-finished, comprising: Teapot, Milk Jug, Sugar Bowl, Sugar Tongs and fan-shaped Tray, engraved and bright-cut with swallows in flight, finches amidst cherry blossoms and butterflies, monogrammed FJEH
