The first quire misbound, fols. 7–8 after fol. 2; close-trimmed, the title-line of fol. 2 shaved, scattered stains, the upper corner of last leaf torn away with loss of text. nineteenth-century half calf over decorated paper boards, gilt-stamped title and imprint on spine, edges sprinkled red; backstrip and corners rubbed.

Jacob Georg Christian Adler, 1756–1834, Danish orientalist and government official (signature "Adler", with notes on the text and that he purchased it in Parma, 1780, for 1 ducat). A duplicate of the Royal Library, Copenhagen (Madsen 2083), sold after the 1950 en bloc purchase of Lazarus Goldschmidt's incunables (Madsen 4316). Censor's signature: Domenico Irosolomitano, 1597.

Catalogue Note
Another copy. In this copy, for the inner sheet of quire 4, the outer forme was imposed correctly, but in the inner forme type, pages 6 and 10 were transposed, so that the pages were printed in the order: fol. 3r = page 5, fol. 3v = page 10, fol. 4r = page 7, fol. 4v = page 8, fol. 5r = page 9, fol. 5v = page 6, fol. 6r = page 11 and fol. 6v = page 12. The two British Library copies have the same order of pages.
