The third of Gunzenhauser's three consecutive editions which together comprise the whole of part III of the Hebrew Bible, Ketuvim (Hagiographa). The colophon contains a dating error: it states that it was completed on 9 Tishrei (Erev Yom Kippur) "5247," using for "247" the same chronogram (zayin-mem-resh, "song") used in the colophon of the Psalms (lot 26), completed 4 Nisan 5247 (28 March 1487). The compositor did not realize that the chronogram was no longer appropriate, for it was now the ninth day of the following year.
