Rubricated red and blue (lombard initials, alternating; the major initial on a2r a blue lombard with good quality red ink filigree); scattered annotations, some trimmed, a few waterstains, slight worming at front and back, occasionally touching a letter. Eighteenth-century vellum, red-and-blue marbled edges, endleaves renewed. Half green morocco slipcase, chemise.

Catalogue Note
A reprint of the Octavianus Scotus edition of 28 May 1483 (Goff A-1216), with additional tracts added by Eusebius Corradus (1447-1500), a Lateran canon of Milan, including his own letter to Pope Sixtus IV, negating the erroneous belief that Augustine had been a hermit. The Bonetis device, found in some but not all copies on the colophon page, is not present in this copy.
