of copper enamelled and fitted with gilt copper mounts, the exterior painted with allegorical, courting figures, the inside of the lid with inner cover that reveals a man's fantasies of ladies in the nude
Condition
Gilt mounts lightly abraded, hairline cracks to enamel in particular on cover, small restored halfmoon shped chip to the lid and one corner with small chip.
