Description

the bangle designed as a series of collet-set mixed-cut blue topaz, diameter approximately 5.5 cm, the hoop earrings set with three lines of square-cut blue topaz, both signed gh for Georg Hornemann; together with a ring of similar design, ring size 54 mm (4).

Condition

Overall in good condition. Both the bangle and earrings signed gh for Georg Hornemann, Dusseldorf. Bangle: Topaz well matched in colour, with some wear to the facet edges. Weight approximately 126 grams. Inner circumference approximately 5.5 x 4.7 cm. Earclips: Topaz well matched in colour, with some wear and small chips to several facets. Height approximately 3 cm. Total weight approximately 66 grams. Clip fittings for unpierced ears. Ring: Measurements topaz approximately 20 x 14.7 x 10.2 mm, as measured in collet setting. Engraved to the band BECK, ring size 54. The outside of the ring has a brushed finish, with some discoloration to the collet mount. Weight approximately 47 grams, slightly chipped near the edge. All stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, some discoloration to the gold.
