Description

the lid decorated  with a cluster of emerald, cushion-shaped diamonds and black enamel, the outer border of white enamel scroll motifs, opening to reveal a detachable watch, to a hinged bangle decorated with scrolls. The watch can be worn separately. The engraving on the jewel reads 22 Julji 1843 Maryi Orlonskiej and refers to the Countess Orlovska from a Polish noble family and an ancestor of the current owner, cased (3).

Condition

Generally in good condition, some small dents to the bangle and minor signs of wear to the enamel. Inner circumference 6 cm. Total weight 62.8 grams. Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Watch: bangle opens to reveal a small cilinder open faced watch with a silver engine turned dial and Roman numerals, dating from circa 1840 - 1860. Cuvette is signed Robert Brandt & Cie, movement is not signed. We can not guarantee the working condition of the watch.
