Description

  • the largest: 3.8 by 10.4 by 4.9 cm.
the covers inlaid with mother-of-pearl; two painted with La Danse Russe, entitled and marked on the inside cover, also painted with the Royal Warrant in gold; the other box painted with a man smoking while leaning against a stove, inscribed in Russian and painted with the Royal Warrant; combined with a fourth snuff box of papier mâché and lacquer, painted with street musicians

Condition

All boxes in overall good condition with the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. Some minor craquelé to the lacquer, minor losses to the paintings.
