Description

the ivory shafts turned on the lathe, contained in a case of wood, bearing paper label with inventory number
Condition
In overall good condition with some minor surface dirt and yellowing to the ivory. One white tower with one section to the top missing, minor chip to the foot. White and black queen with crown broken off but available, the white with small losses to the carvings of the lower tier. Dark king with cross finial to crown missing.
The box in overall good condition with the inevitable dents, marks and scratchtes due to age and use. One hinge to the front partly missing.
