- the first 12.8 cm.
the ovoid-shaped bowl cut with stylized foliage, gilt around the rim, finely wheel-engraved with the view of an ornamental garden; together with two facetted cups, wheel-engraved with female figures in the nude, inhabiting flowering plants; also combined with a drinking glass of flattened cross-section, engraved with a corpulent man sounding a gong; also combined with a cut-glass tankard with cover and foot rim of pewter
Condition
As illustrated in the printed catalogue:
The first with minor chips under the base-rim, minor light surface scratching, minor wear to the gilt rim. The second in overall good condition with minor light surface scratching and few minuscule chips to rims. The beakers with some wear and scratching to the inside due to age and use. The tankard with hairline crack issuing from top of handle (circa 8cm. long).
