Description

  • the first 20.8 cm.
the bowl of inverted bell-shape and finely wheel engraved with voluminous scrolls of foliage and flowering tendrils, supported on spherical stem and circular foot engraved en suite; together with another footed cup, wheel-cut and engraved with an armorial device; also combined with a goblet with associated cover, wheel-engraved with a royal portrait, possibly that of Augustus the Strong; further combined with three drinking glasses, the first engraved with the arms of Great Britain, the second with the Polish eagle, the third with an armorial device

Condition

In overall good condition with minor light surface scratching. The very left glass seen in the catalogue image crazed especially on base, possibly glass disease, the goblet with associated cover affected by glass disease, the cover more severely.
