Description

  • overall 94 cm. high
the dark blue ground partly gilt and centred on one side with a portrait of the monarch, on the other with a view of the Royal Palace in Berlin, applied with foliate handles of gilt-brass, composed of four separate pieces, signed in underglaze blue

Condition

In overall good condition, minor wear to the gilding, especially to the rims, minor light surface scratching. The socle with one small bruise (circa 1cm. diameter) to the top. few small shallow chips to the underside rim of the detachable neck of the vase due to attachment mechanism. The mounts slightly soiled and slightly loose.
