  • 30 by 54 cm.
the exterior barrel-shaped, painted with flowering trees, the ends applied with feline heads, formerly supporting rings, raised on claw and ball feet, two re-stuck, the interior painted with fishes and shellfish, one section of rim re-stuck, another missing

Condition

In overall good condition, minor wear to enamels and gilding, minor light surface scratching to the glaze, few larger glaze pits. Minor glaze abrasion and one shallow glaze chip (circa 2cm. long) to the upper rim. One larger section of the rim broken off (circa 15cm. wide), one piece available. Most parts of rings formerly suspending from feline heads missing. One feline head with larger glazeless section. Two feet re-stuck, one foot with larger firing flaw.
