Description

six covered in green-coloured fabric, the other three with green fabric worked with flowers and applied with fringes; together with a set of three side chairs of oak, in Italian, late Renaissance style; a pair of walnut side chairs, in Italian, late Renaissance style; also combined with eleven sgabelli, 18th century and later; also combined with a Savonarola folding chair, the backrest carved with a portrait in profile of the same; and finally also with a triangular armchair

Condition

set of chairs with green covers in reasonable condition, though the three covered differently in worn condition, the side chairs in late Renaissance style in need of recovering, the sgabelli mostly loose in the joints, backs re-affixed to seat, the Savonarola chair with patina worn and split to seat
